(i) consider the fact that there are certain tribes and villages that have had no contact with the modern world.
(ii) these villages and tribes still 'live' in the stone age. Their tools are prehistoric in nature.
(iii) they have their own 'Gods', which may indicate that they are exactly like us, but lacked the guidance from them. this lack of guidance may be due to abandonment by their creators. Or they may have turned AWAY from their creators, and returned later, finding that they were forsaken.

*another explanation for our current advancement would be errors in the genetic code, which enable certain individuals (the probability of these individuals is probably 1:several billion) to function at a higher level of creative thought.

8) The creators sent their son(s) / prophets / messengers to humankind. This provided mankind with a PATH to follow.

9) There was a period of flooding in the planets' history.

10) A prophecy of the final days / Armageddon / judgement day exits in all cultures.

It is theorised that humans use 10% of their intellectual capabilities. The reason for this is either due to genetic LIMITATION, or simply that we haven't evolved far enough.

Several questions will remain unanswered :

1) Who created the creators? Are they the product of true evolution, or is there really a supreme being?

2) Why did they leave?

3) What is our destiny?

4) If a race of Atlanteans did exist, who did they base their technology on? Crystals (or crystalline items) may have been essential to their way of life.
