Why were UFO's only widely reported after World War 2?
Is it because of the hypothesis that they come from parallel earth dimensions and came to this dimension en masse in response to the detonation of above-ground nuclear bombs beginning in 1945?
Although the explosions occurred in
uninhabited areas in this dimension, this might not be the case in their
dimension.
One of the foremost experts on the UFO Phenomena in America was the late Dr. J.
Alan Hynek. Dr. Hynek was an astronomer at North-western University who was
hired as a consultant to the U.S. AIR FORCE Project Blue Book in the late 40's
and 1950's. He was initially a sceptic, but later was convinced of the phenomena
on the basis of the many unexplained cases they encountered. His conclusion
toward the end of his life was the UFO's come from parallel dimensions, since
they are seldom tracked coming into the atmosphere from outer space, but most
frequently appear and disappear within a short distance. They often disappear
right before the very eyes of observers in both daylight and night-time
sightings.
The initial atomic blasts having occurred in the US and Japan, one would expect the bulk of initial sightings to have occurred there and fewer elsewhere.
The stories of some of the "contactees" of the 1950's was that they were told that nuclear blasts were the reason for their concern about the earth, but from the viewpoint of outer space and not an earth dimension. Such concern makes little sense if they came from distant space, but much sense if they came from a place seriously affected by the blasts!
This seems to be the theory on parallel dimensions, and that nuclear bombs (or activity) have opened the "gate". What is not clear to me, though, is how nuclear bombs (or activity) have opened the "gate" and how do UFO�s travel from their dimension to ours, and why would they want to do that? What is the theory on what their dimension is like?
I.e. how does it differ from ours, and where is it?
Maybe it is similar to the sci-fi movie "Stargate"?
I think that these beings have found a way to do time-travel and that they may not necessarily come from other dimensions. Their technology may be of such a nature that they can "stealth" our radar systems and even be invisible to the eye by using colour techniques, earth's magnetic fields / zones / activities (Bermuda Triangle?) etc.
Also, I think that they have been visiting earth for a long time, and that these visitors are possibly from different solar systems and do not all belong to the same species or even be from the same planet.
When I say long time, I mean even ancient times. I suspect that many "miracles" documented from these eras, as well as happenings attributed to gods, may actually be originated by extra-terrestrial visitors. (Well, it could just as well be unexplained natural phenomena)
I mean, this universe is so big (well nobody knows its actual size) and we on earth must be very arrogant to think that we really are the "crown of creation" (in Biblical terms) and that there is no other life out there.
Many people say that they visit us because they would want to help us. I dispute this, because I can not see any reason why they would want to help us! (Unless there is some benefit to them?)
Mankind is a destructive species and I think we rather pose a threat to them if we are to find a way to cross the barrier. Therefore it would possibly be in their own interest
a) not to be seen by us
b) to study us so that they can anticipate what we would be able to do in case
we do cross the barrier ; and
c) to destroy us before we do so.
This story that they all are friendly, kind and helpful, is nonsense I think!!
There are stories documented where people have been abducted and who have had horrendous experiences with these guys (experiments etc.).
I suspect that they view us in a similar way that we view chimpanzees, dolphins etc. We also experiment with them and research their intellect etc.
Every so often we have a sighting, but people mostly do not talk about it or admit that they have seen something, for fear of being branded as a lunatic!! The only time it really hits the news is when many people saw it at the same time. - There is strength in numbers, you know.
Most of the time, we are told that we saw a weather balloon, or it was a normal plane, with the sun shining on the wings at an angle, or if at night, then all sorts of other explanations are given that seems logical.
One can never actually question the pilot or air traffic controllers, because they will all fall in line. That is, stick with the story, possibly because it is true, or, that they fear they may loose their pilot license or job.
What is strange to me is that some sightings seems to be visible only to an "elect" few, that is, in a city where there are more than a million people, only 100 will report a sighting (for example).
I question this because the ratio between the number who reportedly saw it and the number of citizens, is too small. What do you think?
The dimension theory could actually be true as well. I suspect there are many dimensions, some of which we are aware but do not see as such, and others we do not know of, and might discover only in years to come.
What I am trying to say is related to paranormal activities. Such as life after death, spiritualism, clairvoyance etc. There are many people who can (others claim) travel into these dimensions and "see" the future, contact the deceased, and even visit current living beings spiritually.
As a thought, do you think our exposure to Sci-fi movies affected / influenced us more into UFO thinking?
Do you think there are "E.T's" living amongst us, posing as humans (or other life forms)?
